Role Summary The Accounting Manager leads the general accounting function, safeguarding the accuracy and integrity of ledger accounts and financial statements across multiple international entities. In this role, you will develop and execute accounting policies, oversee system operations, and manage financial reporting deadlines while ensuring strict compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local regulations. Serving as a key technical advisor, you will collaborate with operational leaders to guide budgeting, interpret financial performance, drive process transformation, and mentor a high-performing accounting team. What You’ll Own Financial Reporting Excellence: Oversee precise, timely, and compliant month-end and quarter-end close outcomes across global entities to support strategic decision-making. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing accounting team, driving career development and operational execution. Compliance & Governance Frameworks: Enforce internal controls to maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory regulations. Process Transformation & Digital Finance: Identify and implement opportunities for workflow simplification, automation, and reporting efficiency across global accounting processes. Global Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate across international functions and business units to support market expansion, financial integrations, and long-term organizational value. Minimum Qualifications Credentials: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of combined accounting and audit experience , with proven expertise delivering accurate financial reporting in high-volume settings. People Management: At least 4 years in a supervisory or people management role , with a track record of coaching and developing finance talent. International Accounting Exposure: Direct experience supporting multinational organizations, US clients, or international legal entities across multiple jurisdictions. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical capabilities to drive data-informed business decisions. Work Setup & Location: Amenable to working onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City during the probationary period on a Midshift schedule (3:00 PM – 12:00 AM) . Preferred Qualifications Hands-on involvement in accounting transformation, process automation, or digital finance initiatives. Deep experience in general accounting, full financial statement preparation, and multi-entity month-end close operations. Collaborative mindset with a proven history of operating seamlessly within cross-functional and global shared services teams. Strong adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume multinational environment.
