# Accounting Manager **Gladex Travel and Tours Corp.** · Binondo · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting, proper controls, and compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and comfortable managing both day-to-day accounting activities and a team. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and accounting schedules. Monitor cash flow, collections, payments, and company expenses. Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions. Review and maintain proper supporting documents for accounting transactions. Manage month-end and year-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other applicable government requirements. Review and monitor tax filings, payments, and related documentation. Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other financial institutions when needed. Establish and maintain effective accounting controls and procedures.Monitor budgets and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly. Supervise, coach, and evaluate accounting staff. Ensure proper maintenance and confidentiality of financial records. Assist management in financial planning, forecasting, and business decisions. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role. Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards and tax regulations. Experience with BIR compliance and tax-related processes. Strong understanding of financial statements, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.Experience with accounting software or ERP systems is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and team management skills.Able to work independently and handle multiple priorities. PreferredCPA license is an advantage but not required. Experience in the travel, tourism, hospitality, or service industry is a plus. Experience managing and mentoring an accounting team. Familiarity with accounting automation and digital financial systems.
