Accounting Intern

Role Summary

We are looking for a motivated Accountant Intern to join our Finance team at HALA. The role offers an opportunity to apply accounting knowledge, support daily accounting activities, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recording financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Support the review and organization of invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Assist with tracking expenses and accounts payable.
• Support account reconciliations and financial reporting activities.
• Provide day-to-day support to the Finance team as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Understanding of the financial statements and accounting principles.
• Knowledge of debits, credits, assets, liabilities, and expense recognition.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
