Review daily cash position reports, investment placements, maturities, time deposit schedules, and monthly investment portfolio reports. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements and management reports so they are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards. Support the rollout of IFRS 17 together with the actuarial, finance, and systems teams. Oversee reinsurance accounting, including entries, recoveries, cash calls, and premium adjustments, and keep collection efficiency on RI recoveries at 95%. Review and approve disbursements, and strengthen validation and control checks while meeting agreed turnaround times. Review daily cash balances, bank reconciliations, and online banking and bank documentation. Oversee the timely filing and payment of BIR and LGU taxes, and lead BIR audit engagements. Make sure IC-required reports and regulatory submissions are complete, accurate, and on time. Take part in implementing and improving group-wide finance systems. Lead the preparation of schedules and working papers for external audit, and coordinate with the external auditors. Coach and train junior staff, build a culture of accountability, and lead hiring for the team. Assist with the BOD meeting agenda and minutes, and coordinate inter-company matters across entities. Requirements CPA with an insurance background. Has external audit background. Familiar with tax rules. Graduate of BS Accountancy. At least 5 years of experience in a corporate setting. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Pay: Php130,000.00 - Php150,000.00 per month Benefits: - Health insurance Work Location: In person
