Key Responsibilities1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions. Ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Review general ledger, trial balance, profit & loss account, and balance sheet. Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, advances, and other financial transactions. Ensure proper accounting of fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, and accruals. Prepare and present periodic financial reports to management. 2. Statutory Compliance & Taxation Ensure timely compliance with applicable statutory requirements. Manage GST, TDS, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, Income Tax and other applicable financial compliances in coordination with relevant teams/consultants. Review GST returns, reconciliations, input tax credit, and related documentation. Ensure timely filing of TDS returns and other applicable statutory returns. Coordinate with tax consultants and statutory authorities whenever required. 3. Budgeting & Financial Planning Coordinate preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and analyze variances. Provide management with financial insights and recommendations based on business performance. Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for improving financial efficiency. 4. Cash Flow & Working Capital Management Monitor daily cash flow and fund requirements. Manage working capital, receivables, payables, and payment schedules. Monitor customer outstanding payments and coordinate with relevant departments for timely collection. Ensure effective utilization of available funds while meeting business commitments. Prepare cash-flow forecasts and provide regular updates to management. 5. Accounts Receivable & Payable Monitor customer outstanding balances and ageing reports. Establish effective follow-up mechanisms for timely customer collections. Review vendor invoices and payment schedules. Ensure payments are processed accurately and within approved terms. Resolve accounting discrepancies with customers and suppliers. 6. Audit & Internal Controls Coordinate statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and other financial audits. Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and necessary reconciliations. Implement and maintain effective internal financial controls. Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures. 7. Cost & Management Accounting Monitor manufacturing costs, operating expenses, and overheads. Analyze cost trends and identify areas for cost reduction. Support product/process costing and profitability analysis. Provide management with financial analysis for operational and strategic decisions. 8. Team Management Lead, supervise, and develop the Accounts team. Allocate responsibilities and monitor completion of accounting activities. Review team performance and ensure accuracy and timely completion of work. Provide guidance and training to team members on accounting procedures and compliance requirements. 9. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management review. Provide analysis on revenue, expenses, profitability, receivables, payables, cash flow, and working capital. Highlight significant financial variances, risks, and issues to management. Support management with financial data for business decisions. 10. SAP Business One & Process Improvement Ensure proper utilization of SAP Business One systems. Review accounting processes and identify opportunities for automation and improvement. Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial data. Develop and implement improved accounting procedures and internal controls. 11. Branch Accounting · Manage and oversee accounting activities of all company branches/units. · Ensure accurate recording of branch-wise income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and inter-branch transactions. · Review and reconcile branch ledgers and inter-branch accounts on a regular basis. · Monitor branch-wise receivables, payables, expenses, and cash/bank transactions. · Prepare branch-wise financial statements and MIS reports. · Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of inter-branch transfers and transactions. · Coordinate with branch teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure timely submission of financial data. · Consolidate branch accounts into the company's overall financial statements. 12. Import & Export Accounting · Manage accounting activities related to import and export transactions. · Ensure proper accounting of import purchases, export sales, freight, insurance, customs duty, clearing charges, and other related expenses. · Review and verify Import/Export invoices, purchase orders, shipping documents, bills of entry, shipping bills, and related financial documents. · Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of foreign currency transactions. · Monitor foreign currency receivables and payables and ensure appropriate exchange-rate adjustments. · Coordinate with banks, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments for import/export documentation and payments. · Verify and account for customs duty, IGST, freight, clearing charges, and other import-related costs. · Ensure proper accounting of export proceeds and monitor realization of export receivables. · Coordinate with the concerned teams for timely submission of required import/export financial documentation. · Ensure compliance with applicable GST, FEMA, RBI, customs, and other relevant regulations related to import and export transactions. · Review and reconcile import/export-related bank transactions and foreign currency accounts. · Maintain proper records and supporting documents for audit and statutory requirements. Qualification Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. MBA Finance qualification will be an added advantage Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, GST, and statutory compliance. Age must be 45 to 50. Both Male & Female can apply. Experience 12–15 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts. Proven track record in manufacturing sector is preferred. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting and financial reporting. Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong knowledge of Advanced MS Excel and SAP Business One software . Good financial planning and budgeting skills. Strong leadership and team-management abilities. Excellent communication and coordination skills. High level of accuracy, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
