# Accountant Payable **Oskar Group** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Accountant to manage vendor accounts, payment requests, reconciliations and related accounting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and be able to coordinate effectively with vendors, the treasury team and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Verify supplier invoices against purchase orders, delivery notes and supporting documents. Record and process supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system. Prepare vendor payment requests according to approved payment terms. Coordinate with the treasury team regarding payment processing and schedules. Perform regular vendor statement reconciliations. Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding balances. Maintain an updated vendor ageing report and follow up on overdue items. Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments and account-related queries. Ensure all invoices and payment requests have the required approvals. Process supplier advances, credit notes, debit notes and adjustments. Maintain complete and organized accounts payable records. Assist with month-end closing, accruals and accounts payable reporting. Support internal and external audits by providing the required documents. Coordinate with procurement, warehouse and other departments to resolve payment issues. Ensure compliance with company policies, UAE VAT requirements and accounting procedures. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounts payable experience. Good knowledge of vendor reconciliation and payment processing. Understanding of general accounting principles and UAE VAT. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience using ERP or accounting software. Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and confidentiality. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet payment deadlines. Preferred Previous experience in trading, retail, distribution or warehouse operations. UAE accounting experience.
