As we expand, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to support our financial operations remotely from Portugal. Job Overview As a Remote Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes. You will manage daily accounting tasks, support reporting requirements, and work closely with our international team to ensure financial compliance across operations. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate financial records Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable/receivable Assist with budgeting and forecasting Ensure timely VAT filings and tax compliance for multiple jurisdictions Communicate with local authorities, banks, and partners when required Collaborate with property managers and commercial teams to ensure proper documentation of income and expenses Support audits and provide requested documentation Required Skills & Qualifications At least 1 year of experience in accounting, preferably in real estate or property management Ability to work Ireland Time (GMT+1) Proficiency in one of the accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or equivalent) Strong knowledge of EU VAT and accounting principles High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment Benefits Competitive salary Flexible remote work environment Opportunity to work with a diverse, international team Ongoing training and professional development Exposure to cross-border financial operations How to Apply: We are excited to meet driven individuals who are passionate about real estate!
