Accountant – Manufacturing | Full-Time January

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Accountant to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Cost Analysis Analyze production costs and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency Report on standard vs. actual cost variances Calculate true cost of goods sold for accurate financial insights Budgeting & Forecasting Prepare budgets for manufacturing operations Develop regular forecasts based on production trends and financial data Inventory Management Work with the Purchasing Manager to monitor and reconcile inventory levels Reduce excess inventory and manage carrying costs Financial Reporting Generate timely, accurate reports related to manufacturing operations Make monthly accruals and adjustments Prepare tax filings and ensure reporting compliance Reconcile accounts and investigate posting discrepancies Cash Flow Management Monitor daily and weekly cash flow Reconcile bank and credit card transactions Payroll Enter Weekly Payroll and Journal Entries Reconcile for accuracy ERP System Utilization Maintain accurate financial data within ERP system Ensure reliability and integrity of manufacturing financial records Compliance Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies Support internal and external audit processes Stay up to date with tax regulations affecting the manufacturing sector Qualifications: ✔️ Proven experience in manufacturing accounting ✔️ Strong knowledge of cost accounting and production finance ✔️ Proficient in ERP systems and advanced Excel ✔️ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills ✔️ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Why Work with Us?
