Accountant - Interior & Fit Out

We're Hiring: Accountant

Fifth Avenue Interior Decoration LLC | Dubai, UAE

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accountant to join our team at Fifth Avenue Interiors.

The ideal candidate will have strong accounting and payroll experience, with the ability to independently manage financial transactions, supplier payments, procurement coordination, and daily operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Manage daily bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and perform bank reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and monitor cash flow.
• Track project-wise material purchases, expenses, and profitability.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with accounting standards.

1. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Manage supplier invoices, payment schedules, and reconciliations.
• Follow up on outstanding client payments and collections.
• Maintain accurate vendor and customer ledgers.
• Monitor outstanding payables and receivables to ensure timely settlements.

1. Payroll, WPS & Overtime Management

• Independently prepare and process monthly employee payroll.
• Calculate employee salaries, overtime, deductions, advances, and allowances accurately.
• Manage Wage Protection System (WPS) salary processing and ensure timely salary disbursement in accordance with UAE labour regulations.
• Maintain employee attendance, leave, and overtime records in coordination with site supervisors.
• Prepare salary sheets, payslips, and payroll reconciliation reports.

1. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate material procurement for ongoing interior fit-out projects.
• Obtain supplier quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate competitive rates.
• Prepare and track purchase orders, invoices, and material deliveries.
• Coordinate with vendors and site teams to ensure timely procurement.

1. Operations & Logistics

• Manage driver schedules and coordinate material deliveries to project sites.
• Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and suppliers.
• Maintain organized procurement, inventory, and delivery records.

1. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and support UAE VAT returns and Corporate Tax compliance.
• Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience , preferably in the UAE.
• Hands-on experience with UAE payroll processing, WPS, and overtime calculations .
• Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel is a MUST.
• Good knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and labour regulations.
• Strong experience in accounts payable, receivable, and vendor management.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Previous experience in the interior fit-out, construction, or contracting industry is required.
