Other duties include the documentation of processes related to new accounting tasks and ensuring integrity of revenue accounting information. Join our busy, collaborative team onsite at our Redlands, CA campus. Responsibilities - Perform contract reviews and work with Legal, Professional Services, and order processing teams to ensure compliance with GAAP and company revenue and contracting policies - Prepare and record general ledger entries by compiling and analyzing account, operational, and other information - Conduct monthly reconciliations by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions, and resolving discrepancies - Support month and year-end close process and assist with annual audit - Analyze and communicate periodic results to Accounting management - Assist in research and preparation of technical accounting memos related to revenue and expense accounting Requirements - 1 year of experience in public accounting or a similar position - Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Experience with general ledger functions, and month and year-end close process - Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and pivot tables - High level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to prioritize demands and meet deadlines - Familiarity with accounting financial statements - Ability to work independently - Analytical and problem-solving skills - US citizenship - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with an Accounting Certificate or qualification which meets the California CPA eligibility Recommended Qualifications - Experience with Revenue Accounting guidance - Experience with international entities and foreign currency - Experience with SAP or other large ERP system - Current or actively working to obtain a CPA license #LI-JH2 #LI-onsite Total Rewards Esri's competitive total rewards strategy includes industry-leading health and welfare benefits: medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance for employees (and their families), 401(k) and profit-sharing programs, minimum accrual of 80 hours of vacation leave, twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year, and opportunities for personal and professional growth. Compensation decisions and the base range for this role take into account many factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
