Accountant
A vacancy currently exists for Accountant role within the Finance Department in our Singapore office. Reporting to Finance manager. The responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Preparation of full month end accounting entries; month end Journals, recharges, accruals, prepayments etc. Preparation of Profit and Loss statements and analysis of monthly budget vs actual Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of quarterly GST returns Transfer vendor invoices to NetSuite Assist the Senior accountant in raising invoices to clients when needed Assist during Audit Assist during budget time in compiling information for budget Assist in preparation of annual income tax returns Assist in survey (mandatory) by the Department of Statistics Singapore The successful applicant will have the following skills & experience: Relevant tertiary qualification, CPA/CA part/fully Qualified. At least 5 years of experience as an accountant High level of attention to detail, analytical ability, and proven technical accounting skills Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Excellent communication and inter-personnel skills Desirable Skills and requirements: Previous experience in Oil and Gas sector Experience with NetSuite accounting software Solstad Maritime AS is the leading offshore shipping company, providing clients from all over the world with capabilities they need to move forward.
