Accountant – Softel Technologies Inc. Position: Accountant Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai Experience: 3–4 years Employment Type: Full-Time Joining: Immediate Joiners Preferred Salary 2–4 years of experience: ₹22,000 – ₹24,000 per month Salary will be based on experience, skills, and interview performance. Job Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting fundamentals and be comfortable handling routine accounting operations independently. Key Responsibilities : Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities. Maintain accurate and updated accounting records. Prepare and process receipts, payment vouchers, and cheque entries. Calculate and process TDS deductions . Handle GST-related accounting entries and maintain relevant records. Perform bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies. Prepare monthly expense reports. Maintain proper accounting documentation and assist with NOC preparation. Handle accounts-related email communication and queries. Coordinate with relevant parties to resolve accounting-related issues. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial and accounting records. Manage multiple accounting activities and complete tasks within deadlines. Requirements : 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting/bookkeeping. Strong knowledge of basic accounting concepts and accounting entries. Hands-on experience with TDS, GST, bank reconciliation, receipts, payments, and vouchers . Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word . Experience with Tally Prime is preferred. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple accounting tasks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience in society accounting or a CA firm will be an added advantage. Immediate joiners will be preferred. Location Preference ONLY candidates residing on or near the Mumbai Western Line are preferred.
