# Accountant **Obras Contracting LLC** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 2 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities: Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and MIS reporting. Perform receivable reconciliations, process receipts, and maintain accurate accounting records. Review and record supplier invoices, credit notes, and payment transactions. Manage petty cash transactions, expense reimbursements, and ERP postings. Conduct daily and monthly bank reconciliations. Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, provisions, and prepayments. Process payment vouchers, supplier payments, and supplier account reconciliations. Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and budget reports. Monitor supplier payment terms, due dates, insurance providers, and other financial obligations. Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules for VAT and Corporate Tax filings. Maintain and monitor Fixed Asset records and registers. Ensure proper documentation, record keeping, and compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements. Liaise with auditors, regulatory authorities, suppliers, and other external stakeholders as required. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, IFRS, and VAT regulations. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
