Job Description – Accountant Position: Accountant Experience: 1–6 Years Salary: ₹15,000 per month Job Type: Full-time Location: [Insert Location] About the Role We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain financial records, and assist with financial reporting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records. Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions. Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable . Perform bank and ledger reconciliations. Maintain cash and bank books. Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements. Prepare basic financial reports and statements. Track outstanding payments and receivables. Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams regarding financial transactions. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records. Assist auditors and senior management with required financial information. Ensure accounting records are accurate and updated on time. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field . 6 month to 1 year of experience in accounting. Good knowledge of basic accounting principles. Working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime . Basic knowledge of MS Excel . Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage. Good attention to detail and numerical ability. Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information. Good communication and organizational skills.
