JOB SUMMARY: The Accountant (CPA) is responsible for managing the financial and accounting operations of the company's Baguio property while being based in the Metro Manila office. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, tax filing, budgeting, payroll support, and coordination with both the Manila Head Office and the Baguio operations team. The position requires regular on-site visits to Baguio to conduct financial reviews, monitor operations, perform audits, and support management. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Maintain the general ledger and record all financial transactions accurately. Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Prepare journal entries and maintain complete accounting records. Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with Philippine tax laws. Coordinate with the BIR, LGUs, and other government agencies. Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial performance. Prepare financial reports and analyses to support management decisions. Review payroll and monitor statutory remittances (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and withholding tax). Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Assist external auditors during annual audits. Oversee the accounting and financial operations of the company's Baguio property. Coordinate with the Baguio operations team regarding financial matters. Conduct on-site financial reviews, cash counts, inventory verification, and operational audits during Baguio visits. Report financial performance and operational concerns to management. Travel to Baguio City for at least one (1) week per month, or longer as business needs require. Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
