Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and transactions using Zoho Books . Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, supplier accounts, and customer accounts. Prepare and process invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and credit notes. Perform bank, supplier, customer, and general ledger reconciliations. Monitor project-related expenses, subcontractor costs, and construction project accounts. Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports. Maintain proper supporting documents for all accounting transactions. Prepare and maintain records required for UAE VAT compliance . Review VAT transactions and ensure correct VAT treatment on purchases, sales, expenses, and invoices. Assist with preparation and filing of VAT returns and reconciliation of VAT accounts. Maintain proper records for VAT audits and respond to VAT-related queries. Assist with UAE Corporate Tax calculations, records, reconciliations, and return preparation. Maintain supporting schedules and documentation required for Corporate Tax compliance . Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors, and management regarding VAT and Corporate Tax matters. Monitor deadlines for VAT and Corporate Tax filings and payments. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. Support cash-flow monitoring, budgeting, and cost control. Ensure accounting records comply with applicable UAE accounting, VAT, and Corporate Tax requirements . Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field . 2–5 years of accounting experience , preferably in the UAE construction industry. Hands-on experience with Zoho Books . Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax . Experience preparing VAT returns and maintaining VAT records. Practical knowledge of Corporate Tax compliance and accounting treatment. Experience with construction/project accounting is preferred. Strong MS Excel skills. Good knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting. High attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and meet accounting and tax deadlines.
