The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Zoho accounting software, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, WPS payroll processing, and full-cycle financial reporting, and is comfortable working independently in a fast-paced educational environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage all accounting records and day-to-day bookkeeping using Zoho Books / Zoho One. Prepare, file, and ensure timely submission of UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations. Handle Corporate Tax computation, documentation, and filing in line with Corporate Tax law. Process monthly payroll through the Wages Protection System (WPS) and ensure accurate, on-time salary disbursement. Prepare and monitor annual and departmental budgets, tracking actual performance Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Profit & Loss (P&L) and management reports. Manage cash flow forecasting and monitoring to ensure adequate liquidity for operations. Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, labor law payroll requirements, and internal policies. Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and government authorities as required. Assist management with financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (professional certification such as ACCA/CMA/CA is an advantage). Minimum 2 years of accounting experience gained within the UAE. Proven working knowledge of Zoho Books / Zoho accounting software. Strong, up-to-date knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations and filing procedures. Hands-on experience processing payroll through WPS. Demonstrated experience in budgeting, P&L preparation, cash flow management, and bank reconciliation. High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet reporting deadlines. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and general computer literacy. UAE experience is mandatory; candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.
