Job Opening: Accountant for USA Company(Zoho Books Expert) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Work Mode: Remote Department: Finance & Accounts About the Role We are looking for an experienced US Accountant to join our finance team on a full-time, permanent, remote basis. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on expertise in US accounting standards and practices , along with proven proficiency in Zoho Books and the broader Zoho ecosystem . You will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with US accounting norms, and maintaining accurate financial records within Zoho Books. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting operations for US-based business transactions Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries Prepare and maintain financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with US GAAP Manage invoicing, billing, and payment processing through Zoho Books Ensure accurate sales tax calculations and filings as applicable to US operations Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Generate periodic financial reports and MIS for management review Coordinate with external CPAs/auditors for tax filings and audits Maintain and optimize workflows within Zoho Books and integrate with other Zoho apps (Zoho CRM, Zoho Inventory, Zoho Expense, etc.) as needed Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality of all financial records Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field Proven experience in US accounting (US GAAP, sales tax, US financial reporting standards) Strong hands-on expertise in Zoho Books (mandatory); familiarity with other Zoho apps is a plus Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing processes Prior experience working with US-based companies or clients is highly preferred Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting Fluent in English (written and verbal) — must be able to communicate confidently with US-based clients/stakeholders Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage deadlines effectively Comfortable working in US time zone overlap hours (as required) Preferred (Good to Have) Zoho Books certification or equivalent training Experience with multi-currency transactions and international accounting Prior experience in an export/import or e-commerce business environment What We Offer Full-time, permanent position with long-term stability 100% remote work Opportunity to work directly with US accounting processes and a growing international business Competitive salary based on experience How to Apply Interested candidates meeting the above criteria are encouraged to apply with their updated resume.
