This role is crucial in managing customer payments, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely collections, key to maintaining a healthy cash flow in our fast-paced food business. Key Responsibilities Invoice Management: Generate and issue customer invoices based on dispatch and delivery records. Ensure GST and statutory tax compliance. Collections & Follow-Up: Monitor accounts receivable aging reports. Follow up with customers for timely payment via calls, emails, or visits. Accounts Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts regularly. Process credit/debit notes and resolve billing discrepancies. Reporting & Analysis: Maintain AR ledgers and prepare weekly/monthly aging reports. Contribute to cash flow forecasts and monthly closing. Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with Sales and Logistics teams on billing/delivery issues. Assist external auditors with required documentation during audits. Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate records and ensure adherence to internal financial controls. Required Skills & Qualifications B.Com / M.Com with minimum 4 – 6 years of AR experience, preferably in the food or FMCG industry. Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, or other accounting software. Excellent Excel skills and knowledge of GST, TDS. Strong communication, analytical, and follow-up skills. High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with ERP systems. Understanding of export billing (if applicable). Familiarity with food industry supply chain processes.
