Location: Boise, Idaho or REMOTE for the right applicant! Company: Amplified Production Group - a national live events AV production company based in Boise, ID Reports to: Director of Sales & Co-Owner Benefits: employee premiums covered 100% (Select Health), unlimited PTO "take what you need" policy, Simple IRA w/ 3% employer match. Hiring process: Apply for position and answer 5-10 min worth of questions. Recruiter will reach out for a 15-20 min video chat if interested, then a video chat with the hiring manager, then will explore a potential onsite interview depending on location. Target customer: ~80% of our focus is Corporate Events nationwide that average 2-5 days. Other examples could include conferences, expos, concerts, church events, some installs, etc. Work Type: full-time employee with benefits, freelance workers need not apply please. Systems used: Basecamp for Project Management, Hubspot, and Intella Event Travel: we anticipate this role being US Travel (nationwide) 15-20%; team building, training, conferences, networking events, visit leads and prospects for relationship building. Year 1 Goals: Expand the client base Generate qualified leads Help ideal clients come to learn how Amplified PG is the right choice for their event productio needs. Position Overview: Drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities across corporate events, conferences, and live production services. This is an ideal opportunity for a highly motivated energetic person who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and creating opportunities. You will play a critical role in expanding Amplified's client base, generating qualified leads, and helping organizations discover innovative audiovisual solutions that elevate their events and experiences. Responsibilities: Generate New Business Opportunities ● Identify and pursue qualified prospects through strategic outbound prospecting activities, including phone calls, email campaigns, networking, referrals, and social media engagement. ● Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline that supports organizational growth objectives and revenue targets. ● Research target organizations, decision-makers, and market opportunities to develop effective outreach strategies. Deliver Exceptional Communication and Relationship Building ● Conduct professional and compelling conversations with prospective clients to understand their event objectives and business needs. ● Clearly communicate our value proposition, capabilities, and service offerings across multiple communication channels. ● Establish trust and credibility with prospects while creating the foundation for long-term client relationships. Identify and Qualify Sales Opportunities ● Assess client requirements, budgets, timelines, and project scope to identify high-value sales opportunities. ● Qualify leads based on organizational fit, project potential, and revenue opportunities. ● Work collaboratively with Account Executives and Sales Leaders to ensure a seamless transition of qualified opportunities into the sales process. Achieve Performance Targets and Drive Results ● Consistently meet or exceed assigned KPIs, prospecting goals, pipeline generation targets, and revenue objectives. ● Track outreach activities, lead conversion rates, and sales performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement. ● Maintain accurate forecasting and provide regular reporting on business development activities and pipeline health. Represent the Brand ● Act as a professional ambassador in all client interactions, industry events, networking opportunities, and business development initiatives. ● Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive market dynamics. ● Promote the reputation for innovation, professionalism, and exceptional client service. Support Team Collaboration and Sales Excellence ● Collaborate closely with Account Executives, Project Managers, and Operations teams to support successful client onboarding and project execution. ● Follow established sales processes, CRM standards, and compliance requirements to ensure accurate documentation and ethical business practices. ● Contribute ideas and insights that improve sales strategies, lead generation efforts, and overall business development performance. Must Have Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Event Management, or a related field preferred. 5+ years in related position. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and generating new business Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment. Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Bonus Qualifications: Existing network of corporate event planners, agencies, venue partners, or industry contacts. Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Monday.com, or similar systems.
