# Account Manager **Boston Building Maintenance, LLC** · Boston, MA · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Account Manager Location: Charlestown, MA / Greater Boston Salary: $80,000–$90,000 annually BBM Facility Services is seeking an experienced, client-focused Account Manager to oversee cleaning operations for an assigned portfolio of properties throughout the Greater Boston area. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring BBM consistently delivers on its commitments to our clients. This role requires a responsive, hands-on leader who can build strong client relationships, lead and develop cleaning teams, maintain staffing, inspect work, and quickly address service needs as they arise. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable making decisions, and willing to be present at client locations when the operation requires it. Because commercial cleaning takes place outside traditional business hours, flexibility in schedule is essential, including occasional early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and build strong, trusted relationships. Respond promptly and professionally to client and tenant requests, concerns, service issues, and emergencies. Oversee the day-to-day cleaning operations of assigned properties and ensure all contractual requirements are met. Maintain a thorough understanding of each property's Scope of Work and ensure services are completed consistently and to BBM standards. Conduct routine quality inspections, document findings, identify deficiencies, and ensure corrective actions are completed. Lead, coach, and hold supervisors and cleaning team members accountable for performance and service quality. Manage staffing needs, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, disciplinary action, and termination when necessary. Respond to employee call-outs and staffing shortages and ensure appropriate coverage is maintained. Maintain appropriate staffing levels while effectively managing labor hours and overtime. Ensure employees have the training, equipment, supplies, uniforms, and resources needed to perform their jobs successfully. Meet regularly with clients to review service performance, upcoming needs, and opportunities to improve the account. Communicate client expectations clearly to the operations team and follow through to ensure commitments are completed. Work closely with BBM leadership and support teams to resolve operational challenges and continuously improve service delivery. Ensure BBM policies, safety requirements, and client-specific procedures are consistently followed. Maintain accurate operational documentation, inspection records, staffing information, and other required account reporting. Support special projects and additional client needs as required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in janitorial services, facilities management, property management, hospitality, or a similar service-based operation preferred. Previous experience supervising frontline employees and managing multiple locations or a large facility strongly preferred. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach employees, address performance concerns, and make difficult personnel decisions when necessary. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Highly responsive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly and effectively to unexpected situations. Working knowledge of commercial cleaning operations and quality-control practices preferred. Comfortable using technology for email, inspections, scheduling, reporting, and other operational functions. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between client locations throughout the Greater Boston area. Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational and client needs.
