Account Executive
Job Title: Accounts Executive / Sr. Accounts Executive Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager / CFO Job Summary The Accounts Executive will be responsible for maintaining day-to-day accounting records, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting software, GST compliance, and coordination with auditors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, ledgers, and vouchers Record purchase, sales, expenses, and bank transactions Ensure accurate accounting in Tally / ERP / accounting software Maintain fixed asset register and account for depreciation GST & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation) Reconcile input tax credit (ITC) and follow up on mismatches Maintain GST records and support during assessments / audits Handle TDS compliance (calculation, challans, returns – 24Q, 26Q) Support compliance under PF, ESI, Professional Tax (if applicable) Banking & Reconciliations Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly Reconcile cash, vendor, and customer accounts Coordinate with banks for payments, statements, and confirmations Accounts Payable & Receivable Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments Track accounts receivable , follow up for collections Prepare aging analysis for debtors and creditors Financial Reporting & Closing Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts Prepare schedules for statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit Support preparation of MIS reports for management Ensure compliance with internal controls and documentation Coordination & Support Coordinate with Chartered Accountants, auditors, and consultants Support finance team in budgeting and cost analysis Assist in implementation of finance process improvements Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Commerce (M.Com preferred) 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic income tax Experience in Tally / ERP systems Working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred) Skills & Competencies Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good understanding of accounting principles Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks Good communication and coordination skills Integrity and confidentiality in handling financial data Preferred (Good to Have) Exposure to IGAAP / company law compliance Experience in retail / service sector Prior experience in handling statutory audits Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
