# Account Executive **VAIBHAV CONSRUCTION** · Panvel, Maharashtra · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Title: Site Accountant – Infrastructure / Construction Project Department: Finance & Accounts Location: Project Site Reports To: Project Manager / Finance Manager Job Purpose To manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities at the infrastructure project site, ensuring accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, expense control, statutory compliance, and proper documentation of project transactions. Key Responsibilities - Site Accounting: Maintain daily cash, bank, purchase, sales, journal, and general ledger entries. - Vendor Management: Verify vendor invoices, work bills, subcontractor bills, and payment documents before processing. - Petty Cash: Manage site cash, imprest accounts, cash vouchers, and daily cash reconciliation. - Material Accounting: Record material receipts, material issues, stock transfers, and consumption in coordination with the store department. - Subcontractor Billing: Verify RA bills (Running Account bills), measurement sheets, work completion certificates, deductions, and retention amounts. - Project Cost Control: Track labour costs, equipment hire charges, fuel expenses, material costs, and other project expenditures against budgets. - Bank Reconciliation: Prepare bank reconciliation statements and monitor site-related banking transactions. - Statutory Compliance: Assist with GST, TDS, e-invoicing, and other applicable statutory requirements. - MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly expense statements, cash flow reports, and project cost reports. - Documentation: Maintain vouchers, invoices, purchase orders, delivery challans, work orders, and supporting documents for audits. - Coordination: Work with the project manager, procurement team, stores, HR, and head-office accounts team. - Audit Support: Assist internal and statutory auditors and ensure compliance with company accounting policies. Educational Qualification - B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance. - Knowledge of construction or infrastructure project accounting is preferred.
