A good fit (even as a part time position) for a parent or retiree to nurture client relationships, call on existing accounts and to prospect with local, independent businesses and service providers. We develop clients brands cost effectively with creative marketing plans. This position has a base pay plus commission. A bit about you Successful candidates will have a passion for Washtenaw County, regularly shop and support local, and live to promote and support local businesses. Self-assured and comfortable cold calling, you have the ability to improvise, but you are a strategic thinker who appreciates a well-organized action plan to get results. You’re detail-oriented, but your first priority is always “the big picture.” You know what questions to ask and you know how to listen, people just feel comfortable talking to you. A bit about us: We create and curate continuous online platforms for area residents to spotlight new businesses/services, the best in arts and entertainment, and to encourage community participation — folks who are constantly on the lookout for "the next big thing."
