Overview Our 2-year apprenticeship programme offers the opportunity to join an agile, fast-moving organisation. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will have Unified Communication experience across various technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Genesys and Cisco Webex which will help in your further career progression in the industry. You will be supporting both Irish and global customers. This varied role will provide the successful candidate with on-the-job training, working with experienced professionals providing valuable insights into a variety of different fields of expertise. What is involved in the Damovo apprenticeship? You will study towards a Higher Certificate in Telecommunications and Data Network Engineering, which is a technician apprenticeship by successfully completing all external assessments through TU Dublin, Tallaght. You will develop skills both on-site and in the classroom. Whilst in the classroom you will cover Network Installation, Health and Safety, Telecommunications and Technology & Service Restoration, Electrical Principals, Customer Service, Broadband & Wireless Skills, Optic Fibre Installation, Maintenance & Commissioning and Personal & Professional Development. You will bring what you have learned in the classroom into the workplace where you will not only get to put what you have learned into practice, but will also get hands on experience with: Maintaining computer environments both on-premise and in the cloud Maintaining and managing the Testing Environment in our internal laboratory. This will include ensuring all equipment and applications, both physical and virtual, are viable and fit for purpose with the support of the relevant senior engineers Monitoring computer systems to improve performance for all systems Troubleshooting, resolving, and communicating issues to other employees and management Other relevant learning opportunities as they arise What we are looking for Leaving Certificate completion Willingness to learn Unified Communications and Contact Center technologies through both on-the-job and classroom-led learning Good computer literacy and a strong interest in a career in IT Customer service experience A good communicator, both written and verbal Excellent problem-solving skills Proactive, can-do attitude demonstrating initiative Can work well both individually and as part of a team The ability to attend TU Dublin (Tallaght) and to commute to our offices A commitment to successfully complete the 2-year apprenticeship Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle, as travel to customer sites will be necessary as part of the role
